How it works

In its simplest form, our system uses a telescopic pole with a specialist cleaning brush attached. From the safety of the ground, we pump pure water up the pole and through the brush head which allows the window frames and panes to be scrubbed and any dirt removed and rinsed away.

Pure Water vs Tap Water

The water used in our water-fed pole systems is pure water, de-ionised and de-mineralised. Ordinary tap water is full of dissolved chemicals and minerals which are not very good for cleaning windows and other surfaces because when the water dries its leaves streaks and other deposits behind. The water used in our water-fed pole system is passed through a de-ionisation process resulting in pure water.

De-ionised pure water is brilliant at cleaning windows and other surfaces. It will dissolve small particles, chemicals and minerals, holding some of them in suspension. Since that is what the dirt on windows is made of, de-ionised water is just about the best thing we could use, and it results in very clean windows and surfaces.

The soft-filament brush helps to dislodge any stubborn particles, and the stream of pure water washes away all the suspended dirt to leave a streak-free finish. Windows look wet when they have just been cleaned, but as this is pure water it simply evaporates away to nothing, leaving no residue or deposits, just sparkling clean windows.

Water Fed Pole vs Traditional

If your windows have been cleaned in the traditional manner with normal tap water and detergent, then it will take a couple of cleans with this new pure water system to really see the perfect results.

Your windows will be coated with a microscopically thin, but very stubborn, film of detergent residue, and that film has built up each time your windows were cleaned using the traditional method. That film left behind is sticky and it actually attracts dirt and helps it to stay on the window more easily. The result is that your windows get dirtier quicker.

It can take 2-3 washes with the water-fed pole system and de-ionised water to completely dissolve and remove that coating of chemicals, but by then your windows really will be clean. The result is also that your windows are likely to stay cleaner for longer as there is nothing left for the dirt to stick to.
